How to Become a Member
Membership
Members of the PFA are recognized National Federations that meet the requirements outlined in the PFA Constitution.
Member Obligations
Each Member is expected to:
- Govern, promote, and develop Pencak Silat in its country.
- Maintain good standing with the PFA.
- Provide legal proof of the federation’s official status.
- Comply with the PFA Constitution, regulations, and official decisions.
- Actively support and participate in Pencak Silat events and activities.
- Follow the PFA Anti-Doping Regulations.
- Ensure athletes give consent for the use of their personal data and images for official and promotional purposes.
- Uphold ethical standards under the PFA Code of Ethics.
- Promote transparency and good governance within all affiliated bodies.
Member Rights
PFA Members have the right to:
- Attend, participate, and vote at the Congress.
- Submit proposals for Congress consideration.
- Nominate candidates for elected positions.
- Take part in Pencak Silat competitions and official activities.
- Enjoy all other rights provided under the PFA Constitution.
