Pencak Silat Kenya Performs at Indonesia’s 80th Anniversary Celebration

The National Federation of Pencak Silat Kenya proudly performed at the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, hosted by the Indonesian Embassy in Nairobi. The Demonstration Team showcased the art before diplomatic delegations, strengthening cultural and people-to-people ties between Indonesia and Kenya.

The Federation extends its gratitude to the Indonesian Embassy and Persilat for their support. Inspired by this milestone, the Federation—through its active Demonstration Team—continues to raise awareness, spark interest, and introduce Kenyan youth to the global Pencak Silat community, while expanding efforts to promote the martial art across the country and the region.
